Dana Edwards is a documentary photographer based in New York City. He is currently studying photojournalism and documentary film at Columbia Journalism School. 

His photos have been published in Reuters, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, NBC, Al Jazeera, New York Magazine, PBS, San Francisco Chronicle, City Limits, Columbia News Service, the Kathmandu Post, the Stanford Journal of Human Rights, and other publications. Many of his photos have been chosen by a jury and displayed as “Master Shots” and “Selections” by Leica Fotografie International. His work was displayed in the first juried exhibition of student artwork at Stanford University, entitled All Tomorrow’s Parties.

He is inspired by classic 20th century street and humanist photographers like Henri Cartier Bresson, Robert Frank, and Diane Arbus, as well as contemporary photojournalists like Marcus Yam and Dina Litovsky.
